Today, I'm very pleased to invite all of you to my annual recital in Scarsdale, NY on April 27th @4pm. Each recital that I give is unique in its programming and will have something everybody can enjoy, from the singing and dancing, to the costumes and props, and maybe even some food?!
The recital will take place at Greenville Community Church, located at:
270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale NY
You can drive or take Metro North to the Scarsdale station, which is only 35-40 mins. from the city.
This time I picked the theme Passion!!
The program will be Schumann's A Woman's Life and Love, and selected Opera Scenes such as the famous Balcony scene from Romeo and Juliette and more!
I am also introducing a very exciting new works from Japan: the America Premiere of Kishi Kouichi's Songs. They are very beautiful and quite unique. I love them and I am so happy to share them with you! Don't miss this chance!!!
Kishi Kouichi was one of the most talented musicians in Japan, and he even conducted his own symphony with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra when he was still in his 20's. Unfortunately he passed way when he was just 28 years old.
Please come and enjoy this event with me, my tenor husband Sean, the beautiful dancer Nahoko, and the brilliant Pianist Rikako Asnuma who will be playing a gorgeous Steinway piano.
