Recital-Japnese Songs in Puccini's Madama Butterfly April 22nd Sunday at 4pm in Scarsdale NY

Hello Everyone!! Are you enjoying the beautiful spring weather?  Flowers are blooming everywhere I look. That makes me so happy and excited.

Today, I'm so pleased to invite all of you to my annual recital in Scarsdale, NY in this wonderful season. Every recital I have given has had unique programming that have something everybody can enjoy, ranging from the singing, to costumes, props and dancing, and foods etc.

This time I decided to introduce the traditional Japanese melodies that are used in Puccini's Madama Butterfly. Since it is my heritage, I am going to share the Japanese culture and guide all of  the opera lovers, and show the audience the Japanese songs and melodies that inspired Puccini to use them in the wonderful Madama Butterfly. Who were the muses that inspired Puccini? In this recital you will re-discover this beautiful Italian opera from a Japanese perspective.

Please come and enjoy this event with me and my "Hattori"sister who will playing the beautiful Steinway piano.
